Our property is situated at 1500m altitude at L’Alpe des Chaux which is a 5 min drive from La Barboleuse, Gryon and is connected to the Villars/Gryon/Les Diablerets ski area where children Under 6 ski free. It’s a one minute drive or 10 minute walk  to the T-bar lift at "Les Fracherets" and there is a bus stop outside.

For new skiers, at nearby Frience you’ll find a moving carpet lift leading to nursery slopes and sledge/toboganning runs which are free to use. Sledges can be rented onsite and there is also a snack bar.

Alpe des Chaux has is a ski-hire shop and two restaurants.

In summer there is a lake within short walking distance for swimming, playing, sunbathing, snack bar, bbq grills and picnic benches.

130km from Geneva. Approx 8 hours from Calais. Car recommended.
